Claire opened her front door.

"Hi Janie, come in. Did the boys get off to University ok?"

"Sure did."

Claire said "At least my Danny got over his spanking."

"Spanking?"

Claire explained. "It was his own fault. I grounded him but he begged to be let off so he could play in the football match yesterday. I told him I didn't have grounding and the like when I was younger and got a spanking. He begged me to spank him instead."

"So you did?"

"He went on and on about it. So I gave in and put him across my knee."

"What did you use?"

"Oh, my hand and my wooden backed hairbrush, on the bare."

"Cool. So you better go and get the hairbrush."

"Why?"

"The bet." Janie was laughing.

"What bet?" Then suddenly realisation spread across her face. "But that was 18 years ago" she stammered. "At post natal clinic"

"So you remember now? Exactly. We were both adamant we wouldn't spank our kids. You suggested the bet. Whichever one of us spanks our kids first gets spanked by the other one." She was still laughing.

"You're not serious."

"Too right I am. Now get that hairbrush young lady"

"I'm 39 years old."

"Go get it. A bets a bet." Janie said more sternly.

Claire left the room and came back a few moments later holding the hairbrush.

"Good girl. Right, skirt and knickers off and across my lap please."

Claire nervously gave the hairbrush to her friend, removed her clothing and bent across her lap.

Ten minutes later Claire's bottom was bright red and she was sobbing.

Janie rested a few moments and Claire relaxed. Janie asked softly "you lied about forgetting the bet didn't you Claire."

"Yes" came the mumbled reply.

"Thought so." Then added "and you didn't really spank Danny did you?"

"No."

"You liar. How dare you manipulate me like that." Janie snapped, increasing the tempo of the spanking making Claire cried hysterically..

Janie let Claire calm down and said quietly "You can get up now Claire. I got a bit carried away, huh?"

Janie watched her friend rub her reddened and bruised bottom, with her beautiful tear stained face. "That's OK Janie, I guess. I'm so sorry."

"No need to be sorry you silly girl." Janie stood up and hugged her friend, kissing her on her cheek.

Claire moved her head and kissed Janie on her lips. Janie took Clare's face in her hands and kissed her back, easing her tongue in to her friends welcoming mouth.

They looked deeply in to each others eyes, both smiling. Both knowing. They held each other as they walked to the bedroom.

Afterwards as they lay in each others arms, Janie asked "Will you lie to me again?"

"I'm a persistent liar actually" Claire answered with a broad grin.

"Then I will be spanking you again in future." Janie said sternly, laughing.

"For lying?" Claire asked, pouting.

"Yes, because we both want you to" Janie answered.
